Across the procurement-verse: Changing trends in the procurement function (Economist Impact)

Economist Impact conducted a global survey of 2,307 C-suite executives across organizational functions with the objective to explore how businesses and industries are transforming procurement to meet existing and emerging challenges amid disrupted supply chains, rising costs and growing uncertainty. From the key findings, this paper analyses the key priorities and challenges facing the procurement function today and explores the impact of current business trends, notably macroeconomic uncertainty and rising expectations for environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance within procurement.
