Buyers & sellers make business negotiations complicated. They shouldn’t. There are two strategies:

1.	Make things so simple that errors are obvious. 
2.	Make things so complex that errors aren't visible at all.

Most business negotiators don’t get it, so they take option two. Why? Because most negotiation skills training providers present them with a system that makes things so complicated that the errors disappear out of sight. And when they disappear, the buyers think that they’ve fixed the errors. But they didn't. The errors are still there, flaring up worse than ever before, but because things are so complex, the buyers have no idea and celebrate!

Lesson: Keep things simple. When errors appear, fix them. Don't change the negotiation system so that the errors disappear. That's not a fix, it's denial.
